The stainless steel pins are free from rust and corrosion, and they are very easy to thread tightly so as to make sure that the sliding tubes are held securely. The frame and finish of the bike is also corrosion-resistant and it has a step-through plate protecting the finish from any cleat damage.

Drawbacks

Additionally, the brake pads of this model push from the sides and you have to make a lot of turns on its brake knobs in order to get resistance. The braking system of a Schwinn IC Pro is really the biggest concern of most users and may perhaps be the most significant factor that will affect your decision as to whether you are going to buy this particular bike or look for another model.

All in all, the fact that this stationary bike is specifically designed to withstand several hours of intense workouts makes it a good buy. Furthermore, its components effectively provide you with the experience of being on an actual road bike, without having to step out of the comforts of your very own home.
