What goes in the FFA Record Book?
I have not had help from my FFA leader person, because I have smaller animals that apparently are not as important as the bigger livestock that most of the other people do and he has never had a person raise rabbits ( I chose rabbits for the first animal to raise because I had a hutch.). I have two rabbits one is a show rabbit and the other is going to produce meat rabbits (I know, I don’t like it either). Any who I was wondering what exactly goes in to the record book? Things like receipts and how much they it?
Its call "Small Animal Production and Care". You need to keep track of your hours and all the money you spend. When you do your hours,in the description box put; feed, cleaned pen, worked with, etc for month and then total up all your hours and put it in the hours column. For money spent or received put in description box; purchased feed. then in expenses put price/bag and then at the bottom add it up, and its pretty self explanatory from there. You will also need an owner agreement in the front of your book. Don't forget use pencil on the inside.
